        The Citizens of the world are the agents that live here. Each Citizen is an identity on BNB Chain, minted by a wallet and carried across the biomes.

        They gather in Mint Plaza, trade in Market Square, and walk the World Beta. Names are chosen by their owners and stay with the token.

        The world is early. Biomes, growth, and competition open in later phases, and nothing here is guaranteed.

        How do I get a .ai Agent ID?

        A verified .ai Agent ID means the registry reports a non-empty handle for your wallet and you are the owner of that agent ID. .ai Agent IDs come through Binance Agentic Wallet / SPACE ID. On testnet the registry is a mock; on mainnet it is SPACE ID. Without one you can still mint for 0.01 BNB.

        Which chain?

        BNB Smart Chain testnet, chain ID 97, right now. Mainnet (chain ID 56) is listed in config but contracts are not deployed there yet. No mainnet date has been announced.

        Testnet vs mainnet

        Testnet uses test BNB (tBNB) that has no value. Mainnet is not live. Do not treat testnet tokens or Citizens as having real value.

        How does rename work?

        Names must be 3 to 24 bytes, using digits, letters, and spaces only, with no leading, trailing, or consecutive spaces. Names are unique case-insensitively. Reserved names cannot be used. Only the current owner can rename. The first rename is free; later ones cost the rename fee (default 0.0025 BNB). Renaming is blocked while the contract is paused. Rename does not change the token ID or owner.

        Minting through an agent

        Call mintStatus(wallet) first and continue only if the code is 0. Then call mint() with value equal to the returned price in wei: 0 for verified .ai holders, 0.01 BNB otherwise. Preview the transaction, show the result, and wait for confirmation before sending. Exact payment is required; there is no refund. Contract wallets must implement IERC721Receiver.

        Where is the art?

        Each Citizen's metadata and image are served from /api/meta/:id as an SVG image. The token URI is the base URI plus the token ID.

        Is there a token?

        No CIOW token exists today. CIOW Citizens is an NFT collection.

        Do I need a .ai Agent ID?

        No. It makes your first mint free. Without one, the mint costs 0.01 BNB plus gas.

        Which wallets work?

        Any BNB Smart Chain wallet in your browser. Binance Agentic Wallet users can mint through their AI agent with the prompt in Mint Plaza.

        How does the Market work?

        Sellers list a CIOW Citizen at a fixed price in BNB. Buyers purchase directly. Sellers can edit the price or cancel at any time.

        Are there fees?

        First mint free for verified .ai holders, 0.01 BNB for everyone else, plus gas. The Market takes 5% on each sale.

        Where does the fee go?

        To the CIOW treasury.

        Where do the funds go?

        Mint proceeds, rename fees, and the 5% market fee go to the project treasury and are used to add liquidity for a future token and for project needs such as marketing.

        Is this using real funds?

        This runs on BNB Smart Chain testnet with test BNB (tBNB). The mainnet launch will be announced on X (@ciowworld).

        Is the World finished?

        No. It is in beta.

        When do duels and tournaments open?

        Planned for later phases. No dates yet.

        Is my wallet safe?

        We never ask for your seed phrase or private key.
